Trouble is, a bat can fit thru a hole the size of a nickel, and the hole in this wire mesh is about 3x that size. Here is a photo of the corrosion I recently noticed on the roof of my 2006 Nissan Frontier. It is not considered a "warrantable condition" by Waterloo Nissan unless it "is a perforation from the inside to the outside"...huh? Apparently bubbling corrosion is normal for a 2 year old Nissan! This was eminently more enjoyable than doing anything on one's own aluminum bodied friend, and for two reasons. Firstly, Alan has more mechanical knowledge about these trucks than I will ever have. Strangely, I seem to have the opposite problem to others I talk to in this profession. My customers, almost every single one, are easy to please.
